Energy bill for gas boilers

When you use a 35-kilowatt boiler for one hour, it will cost roughly £0.84 to run on mains gas. LPG can be more expensive, though. The cost of running an LPG boiler is 7p per kilowatt-hour, 7.6p to be exact. So if you have a 35 kW heater like me, it'll set you back roughly £2.66 each time you run it for one hour.
